en från Malung och en från Norge.
Efter en snabb färdplannering och inringande av färdplan bar det av mot Jämi.

Visingsö - the birthplace of the Swedish kingdom
Sunday July 4
Another beautiful day in Sweden! So, what to do? Why don’t we fly down to Visingsö for a dip or a lunch? YES!
Visingsö was actually the residence of the first kings of “Svea rike” as it was called then. The history of the island goes back to the 900’s.
Anyway. It took us 1,10h to get there. When you fly cross-country like this it strikes you to see the difference of the landscape. First there is just woods, woods and woods and then you clearly see a “line” where the farmers cleared up the forest and plowed their fields. A very colorful view. (pic 1)
Inbound Visingsö (pic 2). The airstrip on Visingsö has an amazing location. Just by the waterside. You can lend bikes if you want to and this we did. We ended up at Tempelgården for lunch, this is about 4km south of the airfield. (pic 3)
On the way back we passed Mariefred and the old Gripsholms castle (pic 4). A castle frequently used by kings from the Gustav Vasa era and onwards.
So, both a relaxing flight and a history lesson J

Nu har vi ätit lunch i Borgholm!
Sådärja - mätta och belåtna styr vi hemmåt! Med hemlängtan och lite medvind fick vi faktiskt 152kn i groundspeed!!

Lunch i Borgholm!
Nu har vi landat i Borgholm. 1,45h ner pga lite motvind... Men det var såå lugnt i luften. Vi gick på 4000ft och det var som att sitta i tv-soffan.
Här ser ni VODkan parkerad på fältet med Borgholms slottsruin som fond... Vackert!

Lunch i Borgholm..?
Jag vet inte hur lunge jag och Lasse pratat om att flyga ner till Borgholm - men i dag ska det äntligen bli av!!
Frölunda-Södertälje-Trosa sedan ut över havet ner mot Grankullavik och norra änden av Öland...
